My Period?
I've had a lot of cycle irregularities including my period starting at 5 months.
I was told by my OB-GYN that this is normal to be abnormal.
Here's my cycles. I re-downloaded Fertilty Friend ONLY because I was familiar with it and I felt it showed the different period flows better than other apps.
I definitely checked out other free apps---it was weird to be back on this since I was attached at the hip to it for so long while TTC.

I am back on the mini-pill because of the random gushes of blood that was only to be described as HORRIFYING and terribly INCONVENIENT.
Since being back on the mini-pill, I have had spotting, but DEFINITELY not as often as before.
Another good app for period tracking is called Clue. Yes it's call "Clue".
I have it on my phone and use it as well as FF...I'm trying to transition away from FF.

Bedtime Routines
Val was going to bed progressively later and later.
It wouldn't have cared much except that I was getting up at 5:40 and he was going to bed at 1 am. This went on a few weeks until I started falling asleep on my 50 minute commute.
Yeah, not good since I almost crashed a few times.
So my husband came up with the best idea and duhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh like "Let's put him to sleep earlier?"
Why the fuck couldn't I think of that?
Anywho, here's what we do and it's been great. Val does get up 1-2 times a night now, but I get more hours of sleep.
I now wake up at 6:00 a.m. too and that helps.
1. Turn off the main light and put on the side lamp on the night stand.
2. Sit with Val on my lap and do a finger play with him (Pat-a-cake, Itsy Bitsy Spider, etc)
3. Sing him a lullaby with my off key voice.
4. My husband reads a book aloud to him with Val on his lap.
5. I brush Val's teeth with a rubber finger toothbrush and baby toothpaste. Val sits on my lap.
6. We kiss him, hug him, and say "Good night Val."
7. My husband turns the light off, puts on the projector and lullaby music.
8. I nurse him on my lap on the bed.
9. He falls asleep and after 10 minutes of sleeping on my lap, I put him down.
